Waraa Living started from a fairly ordinary frustration: buying furniture that looked right in a photo and started falling apart within a year. Chipboard cores under a thin veneer, joints held together with a single screw and a promise, finishes that scratched if you looked at them wrong. We wanted furniture that behaved the way our grandparents’ furniture did — the pieces that get handed down instead of replaced.
So that’s what we set out to build: solid wood, joined properly, finished by hand, and priced honestly for what it actually costs to make furniture that way.
We’re a small team — designers, joiners, and finishers who’ve mostly come from traditional furniture-making backgrounds rather than mass-production lines. That’s a deliberate choice.
